Candace’s background is working in social care, managing the care of adults with mental health problems and learning disabilities. In the latter role she became aware, through therapies offered to people receiving support, of the powerful impact of touch therapies and it inspired her to pursue the BSc (Hons) university degree in Complementary Healthcare (with Practitioner Status). Candace is qualified to Level 5 in Clinical Reflexology, Level 5 in Clinical Aromatherapy and Level 4 in Holistic Massage. She has also trained in pregnancy massage, and preconception and fertility reflexology. Candace is extremely passionate about the potential benefits of holistic healthcare to support mental and physical wellbeing. She is particularly interested in reflexology as a discipline and is currently preparing for a research dissertation into reflexology, and the effect of treatment on the symptoms of Pernicious Anaemia. Candace is registered with the Association of Reflexologists (AoR); International Federation of Professional Aromatherapists (IFPA) and Massage Training Institute (MTI) and is a member of of Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC), enabling clients to feel completely reassured of professional care tailored to their specific needs.
